In Cantonese, 熱氣 “yeet hay” literally translates to “hot air” but refers more to your energy levels. The opposite of that is 寒涼 “hon leung” or “cold air.” In traditional Chinese culture, it is believed there is Yin (cold) and Yang (hot) energy in food. When your body has too much “yang,” it becomes imbalanced.
